Easy Shopper Guide

With these guidelines, you should have no difficulty with CelDirect, our Online Shopping Service. All prices are shown without VAT - tax (if applicable) and postage are added at the Checkout.

Search for a Product :

There are 2 ways to FIND a Product from the Store Front (Do not forget to use the Browser "Back" and "Forward" arrows to move between pages whenever possible to prevent re-loading and save time.) :
1) Click on the PRODUCTS link or one of the categories in the Departments list shown on the left.
2) Use the "Search" box by entering the name of the product. Remember that 'CelBoards2' might bring a different result to 'boards' or some product detail (eg 'grooved')

Purchase a Product :

Click on the "ADD TO CART" buttons at any time, as appropriate. You will notice that the totals for your Basket are regularly updated, and by clicking on "VIEW CART", you can view a summary of the items in the Basket (and modify them by changing quantities or removing items etc.)

Complete your shopping at the "CHECKOUT" :

On clicking "CHECKOUT" you will be presented with a series of forms to be completed with your name, address, email address etc. Some entries are essential and others are optional. If some details are missed, then reminders will appear to help you. If you check the "Remember me" box, your address information will be retained (not credit card details) for your next shopping visit. If there is a choice of shipping, you will need to select your preferred service. When your Credit Card details are entered and encrypted (coded) they are then safely transferred to give the greatest protection!

LOGIN :

If you select "Remember me" on you first order, your address information will be automatically added next time. If you would like more detail stored (eg. shopping history), you can ask for an 'account' to be set up. Send us an email and we will provide you with a password so that you can "login" to your own account.

NOTE : How to confirm security and be warned when moving to and from secure mode

For Internet Explorer, a small padlock icon appears at the bottom right when in a secure mode - if you click on this, information about the security will be presented. To get additional warning messages when moving to and from secure mode, select "Tools" (from the top menu bar) and then "Internet Options". Choose "Advanced" and scroll to the bottom part of the list, which is headed "Security". Check (click) the second to last item "Warn if changing between secure and not secure mode". Every time you move into or out of secure areas you will get a Secuirity Alert message confirming the secure status of the page being viewed.

For Netscape, there are similar security messages, but you can check the security level at any time by the padlock icon (on the top menu bar) - notice how the padlock closes when in secure mode (eg when in the Checkout area) and a click on the "padlock" reveals more detailed security information.
