File1 : Bridal Flowers

This section of Sugar facts shows how to make a special collection of sugar flowers and foliage for wedding cakes and sprays :

Main flowers - Rose, Gardenia, Alstromeria, Longi- florum Lily, Calla Lily, Rubrem Lily, Casablanca Lily, Cymbidium Orchid, Dendrobium Orchid, Cattleya Orchid and Moth Orchid

Smaller flowers - Jasmine, Spray Carnation, Freesia, Stephanotis, Soloman's Seal, Daisy, Gypsophila, Mimosa, Bouvardia, Lilac, Lily of the Valley, Chinchirinchee, the Delphinium and the Agapanthus

This supplement to File 1 is step by step guide to making bouquet and posy sprays, and small corsage sprays to decorate the wedding cake knife, table napkins etc.

There are details on making ribbon loops, paste ribbons & bows, with notes on arranging flowers in sprays, on cakes and in cake tops etc.

 File3 : Cake Design

This section covers the theory of design through step by step guidance on decorating 12 different celebration cakes!
  
Two Wedding cakes, two Anniversary cakes, a Christening cake, a child's Birthday cake, two adult Birthday cakes (for male and female), a Christmas cake, a Mother's Day cake, and Engagement cake and a Father's Day cake are featured, together with suggested variations. Useful notes on shape, use of colour, etc. are also included.

Sugar facts Feature1! A special guest contribution by Eunice Borchers (South Africa) on Calligraphy and Borders is added - this 10 page section gives advice and help with writing and lettering on cakes etc.

  

File4 : The Countryside

A selection of wild flowers, trees, birds, animals and insects from countryside settings (eg. hedgerow, riverbank) are featured, together with some ideas for cake designs.
  
The Iris, Wild Orchid, Clover, Mouse Ear, Red Campion, Marsh Marigold, Oak & Acorn, Mushroom, Bullrushes, Pine, Chestnut, Wren, Kingfisher, Owl, Pheasant, Rabbit, Mouse, Squirrel, Snail, Beetles, Frog, Ladybird, Butterfly, Moth, and Dragonfly are covered, with selected clips on making flowers, foliage and bird/animal modelling on the Video 2.

File5 : The Cottage Garden

In Sugar facts File 5, there are details on a range of garden flowers!
  
The Peony, Michaelmas Daisy, Lupin, Foxglove, Pansy, Heartsease, Geranium, Petunia, Bramble, Sunflower, Scabious, Phlox, Hydrangea and Apple blossom are all described in detail.
  
It comes with or without a new video, and has instructions on a Cottage cake and other cake designs (eg hanging basket, bird box, terrace & window box), fishpond and wall projects, piping mini flowers and making many other garden accents, including planters, stone wall, bluetit and hedgehog etc.
